I have been having a love hate relationship with my computer.
It is not working or I think it is tryin to tell me who's boss. LOL

Well because I am a good saged southern woman.
I don't do tools or grease or anthing that involves poping the hood, I just want the darn computer to work, I really do not care how the computer works I really just want it to.
And I know my cell phone does more things- I'll get to those when I need whatever it does. In the mean time my real friends just call me and I'll come over and hep them. They know that. And to that I will add . . .

Sageness: HOME

I have been away for a while caring for a friend.
We are very different, she is a city girl, and I am a country girl. LOL
She wants nothing to do with grass under her feet, growing her own food
(not even hetbs), sewing anything let alone a quilt, or picking anything from a tree.
She likes traffiic, going to get her nails done (not digiging in the dirt), and going to the
20 Plex Movie Theater. Cooking is a treat for her because she usually does not have
the time to do it except on Sundays (which brings her very close family together). Oh,
Oh we laugh at what we each thinks is quiet. She thinks I live in igloo land and I get my
mail by penguin express. LOL - People who live in the rual country knows it is anything
but quiet, but after all she is a city girl. giggle, giggle
I on the other hand am trying to figure out how I can make it more inviting for birds to
come to my yard. I love the sound of song birds in the morning. If Gabby the crow has
no sunflower seeds, well lets just say I will go out and have words with that loud mouth crow
even if I do have my first cup of tea in hand; as long as it is not raining.
I really want to plant flower bulbs so I can have spring flowers. I can't wait to cook a new soup and put those herbs I have dired into it. I would rather cook 3 times a day, make some bread, then share some to shutin, I love church potlucks. I like making jams from the fruit trees I've pick from to make sure the fruit is fresh. I like canning vegetables, dressing a chicken or rabbit, and is there anything better than LAMB, ELK and DEER. I am going to learn how to make chesse this year, yay. There is gittiness when I am going arcoss my grassbarefeet to sit under a fruit tree read a good book. While sewing is not my strong suit I will for a secret sister, crochet a baby blanket, and make a quilted tea cozy for a teapot as I share some dessert I made with a friend.
What do we have in common, watching and praying for each others children as
they grew up (one of which I halped deliver), praying one another in and out of
marriages, seeing that we are on our knees through the task God has assigned
wether or not we believe in our abillities. We have grieved with each other as
loved ones passed on. She did not mind our family being in the military.
We have leraned to disagreed with one another more than 7 times. I am a
Republican and she is a Democrat-hmm smile. She taught me how to braid
in hair extensions for my daughter and shop for hair in more ways than one.
While the church I attend is very small (we have a small Praise Team),
when I visit our old church there she is singing and shouting (the best) in the Choir
of a church that seats 4,000. The connection in the Spirit is so fresh and
real each time I talk to her on the phone, it is like we are sitting across the table
from one another. She knows that I will fast and pray for her weihter I get a
call from her or The Holy Ghost, she would do the same for me.
What is our connection when we seem so different. We both have a relationship with . . .

The Alter Ego
I think people are having trouble with this blog LOL
You see, I did know if it would work.

The Big C & Friends
When you hear the word Cancer what do think of ?
My first reaction is usually:
"I KNOW A LIE FROM THE PIT OF HELL WHEN I HEAR ONE!"
I get on every prayer chain I can think of, and have prayer warriors get to work.
This never became more true when one of my friends recieved such news.
I could not believe it, there had never been any cancer in the family.
But there it was, in my face and ripping at my heart.
I did not want to loose another friend to cancer.
I know that sounds selfish, but it was another feeling gripping at me.
This woman is my sister, I talk to her all the time at least once a week.
If I lived in the same city, I'd see her more than once a week.
She knows the all kinds of stuff about me, and loves me anyway.
I was there helping to deliever her 6th child. I love those kids.
But I was loosing it and that is just not like me
I will fast and pray at the drop of a hat.
So shaking myself loose from self-pity,
I start to put on the armor of God and I looked up.
(I do not like back door attacks or baneful whispers.)
The doctors have a plan and so does God.
And so far God has handled every request we have put before Him.
He is good like that-SMILE
Yes, I know that my Heavenly Father can help
us handle what He has allowed.
Not caused but allowed.
I know who I trust and who to call on.
Trust is an interesting thing, and I do Trust Him.

Today I Begin
This is my first time blogging! Yeah kicking a screaming into the 21st century-giggle.
I am over 50 and find myself in the older woman category-hmmm
Just when this happened I don't know, but I am not sure I like it.
I have always gone to older women and asked what they thought about this or that.
Now women and younger women are coming to me. Scary in many ways.
(more about that later)
Well I am hoping to find others like me (50+), and get to know some younger women too.
I hope to post things like; Then and Now, share recipe or two, Solitude,
and the passion of my faith-Jesus.
Who knows where this blog will take me or how big it will get or Not.
I also know I will have to learn how to use this computer-ug : )
Oh by the way, I also hope to have FUN doing it.
